Courtyard by Marriott opens its first Makkah hotel on Ajyad Street, offering modern amenities, diverse dining, and easy access to Al Haram.

Courtyard by Marriott has opened its first hotel in Makkah. This hotel, located on Ajyad Street, is part of the Marriott Bonvoy brand portfolio. It is just a five-minute drive from the Al Haram area and the Masjid Al Haram. This marks a significant moment for the Courtyard by Marriott brand.

The Courtyard by Marriott Makkah offers modern comfort and convenience to all kinds of travellers. It aims to set new standards for hospitality and hotels in Makkah with its fresh approach and exceptional service. The hotel caters to everyone, from spiritual pilgrims to business travellers.

GLOBAL BRAND WITH A LOCAL TOUCH

Courtyard by Marriott has a large global presence with over 30 brands under the Marriott Bonvoy umbrella. This brand focuses on thoughtful and sophisticated design. It aims to give guests a relaxing and rejuvenating experience.

Sandra Schulze-Potgieter, Vice President of Premium & Select Brands for Europe, the Middle East, and Africa at Marriott International, commented on this new opening. She made it clear that it's a significant milestone for the brand. Adding to that initial comment, she mentioned how  "this growth reflects our dedication to exceptional design and heartfelt service". This in her eyes provides unique experiences that reflect the essence of Makkah.

FEATURES OF THE COURTYARD BY MARRIOT, MAKKAH

The Courtyard by Marriott Makkah has 438 rooms, including 20 spacious suites. The design of all the rooms offers a peaceful stay, combining modern style with the most comfort. The hotel’s lobby offers versatile spaces for guests to socialise and relax.

Guests can enjoy a range of dining options. The K&B restaurant, which spans two floors, provides stunning panoramic views of the city. For a more casual experience, guests can visit the chic lobby café or grab something quick at The Market.

CONVENIENCE AND FACILITIES

The hotel provides a 24/7 shuttle service to the Holy Mosque, making it easy for guests to access sacred sites. It also features a modern fitness centre and separate prayer rooms for men and women.

Parking is ample with three levels and 55 slots. The parking area includes two EV charging ports and designated spaces for disabled guests.

MANAGEMENT'S VIEW

Hassan Warda, General Manager at Courtyard by Marriott Makkah, shared his excitement about the new hotel. He said, "We are thrilled to open the Courtyard by Marriott Makkah and bring a new level of hospitality to the Holy City."

Warda also expressed how the unique dining options, top-notch facilities, and proximity to the Holy Mosque, ensure guests have a memorable stay.
